Gladwyne Historic Estate is a full-scale renovation, addition and furnishing project set within a historic Gladwyne home originally built in 1832 and last renovated nearly a century ago. In collaboration with Archer & Buchanan Architecture and Ernst Brothers, the home was thoughtfully reimagined through a full gut renovation and discreet addition that honors the integrity of the original architecture while supporting modern family living. The thoughtful design and curation of custom millwork, decorative lighting, bespoke textile schemes, wallpaper, curated art, and handcrafted furnishings brought the vision to life. While the interiors pay homage to the home’s history, the curated mix of finishes and furnishings keeps the spaces approachable, fresh, and quietly playful. Ultimately, this is a home designed not only for today, but to be enjoyed by generations to come.
